Planning your next steps • Quick review • Personal responsibility-foundation of your success when creating outcomes and experiences in our lives. • Self motivation-energy from within for the value you place on the task at hand related to the expectations you have of your success (goals). • Self Management-how goals and dreams come to fruition when you manage your time and carefully consider your choices. • Interdependence-maturity from dependence to interdependence while developing mutually supportive relationships through active listening and communication skills. • Self Awareness-discovered some of the thoughts that sabotage us with regards to behavior, thought, and emotion and begin to focus on changing them. • Emotional Intelligence-discussed active learning and how emotional intelligence creates flow in our lives to help reduce stress and live a happier life. Additionally the text focused on staying On Course, making wise choices in college, and believing in ourselves.
