  13. RADIOMETER PRESENTATION Software UpgradeDirect approach of accessing a USB device and upgrade DMS software • No sample tests must be running! • Insert the USB device. Press Ctl+Shift+Esc to access the Task Manager. • Click on New Task. A “Create New Task” dialog box comes up. • Enter "explorer" in the dialog text box; a Windows Start icon appears at the bottom of the screen. • Click Start->My Computer. • Double click on file D:\PISA\Temp\ResetAU.bat • Current instance of AQT software will be terminated • Access the root of the USB and click on Setup.cmd • Choose to upgrade – tick the box • Prompted “Calibrate Display” pls. perform precisely • Prompted “Choose Language” pls. choose English • After the installation the analyser will be restarted. • Once Analyser is restarted then Windows start-up sequence comes up and the user is logged on as ABLUser. • Use Task manager to “End Process” explore

RADIOMETER PRESENTATION Software Install Direct approach of accessing a USB device and installing DMS software • No sample tests must be running! • All data logs will be cleared • All parameter calibrations will be cleared • Insert the USB device. Press Ctl+Shift+Esc to access the Task Manager. • Click on New Task. A “Create New Task” dialog box comes up. • Enter "explorer" in the dialog text box; a Windows Start icon appears at the bottom of the screen. • Click Start->My Computer. • Double click on file D:\PISA\Temp\ResetAU.bat • Current instance of AQT software will be terminated • Access the root of the USB and click on Setup.cmd • Choose to “clean install” – tick the box if not already • Prompted “Calibrate Display” pls. perform precisely • Prompted “Choose Language” pls. choose English • After the installation the analyser will be restarted. • Once Analyser is restarted then Windows start-up sequence comes up and the user is logged on as ABLUser. • Use Task Manager to “End Process” explore

  18. Analyze Service Dump: • Always make a service dump when a failure is observed • If you are not there ask the lab tech to give as many info as possible.
