  2. Objective 1.To train the National Parks staff on the Teaching Resources Packs and the CBM Protocols including a field programme 2.To make more communication about the TILS project with the National Parks of the marine and coastal environments

  3. Participants 21 Staffs from 20 National Parks

  4. Opening ceremony by Head of District officer of Kuraburi

  5. Lecture in Teaching resource Packs I, II by TILS staffs

  6. Field survey on Rocky shore, Sandy shore, Muddy shore, Mangrove forest and Seagrass bed

  7. Laboratory on Biomarker

  8. CBM Protocols

  9. Summary 1. 21 staffs from National Parks in Bangkok and South of Thailand join the meeting. 2. Staffs of TILS lecture in Marine Ecology on Coastal Resources and Environmental Management from text in Teaching resource Pack I and II -Teaching Pack I Marine Environments, Rocky, Sandy, Muddy Shores, Mangrove Forests, Seagrass Beds, Coral Reefs and Offshore Environment. -Teaching Pack II Pressure on the Marine Environment, Marine Pollution, Climate Change, Tsunami Impact, Biodiversity Conservation.

  10. 3. Field survey program on Rocky, Sandy, Muddy Shores, Mangrove Forests at Ranong Coastal Research Station and Ao Kuai and Seagrass Beds at Kuraburi 4. Discussion in general characteristic of habitats, zonation of habitats, how differ in different place and what’re important in each habitats . 5. Training in Biomarker as Tools for Coastal Environmental Assessment in 2 practical and discussion -Righting behavior in Starfish -Prey Detection in Neogastropods 6.CBM protocols
