  3. Backup And Recovery • Based on SureStore library. (20 cassettes) • OmniBack 5 backup software • Differential daily backup (kept for 3 months) • Full weekly backup (kept for at least 1 year) • Cassettes are stored in a safe at hdq. building • Old cassettes are stored in central remote archive

  4. DRP Basic Assumptions • Bedek IT center is non operational caused by any possible disaster. • Maman IT center functioning. • Network junctions not damaged.

  5. DRP Recovery Goals • Connect Maman systems to 5% - 24 hrs. • First Novell server functioning within 48 hrs. • Connect Maman systems to 30% - 72 hrs. • Engineering system to 30% - 72 hrs. • Mail services – 48 hrs. • Full recovery – 14 days

  6. DRP Recovery Procedure • Connect areas through alternative net junction • Connect critical stations to MAMAN systems • Build new servers and connect to remote storage
