Abstract / Background Information New Orleans had a levee on the coast line of the Gulf of Mexico. It eventually broke apart and flooded the New Orleans city. - What evidence support the people who think New Orleansn should never be re-built? -Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005.
