  1. Abigail and Bessie By KoriNemec & Ally Richert

  2. Once upon a time there was a cow named Bessie who was friends with a duck named Abigail. She moved into the house next to Bessie. They became best friends during the summer.

  3. When they got back to school, Bessie realized that not many people liked Abigail, just because she was a duck.

  4. Bessie wanted to be friends with The CCC, the Clu Cat Clan. The CCC ruled the school, strutting their stuff. Everyone wanted to be friends with them, even the teachers favorited them.

  5. The CCC hated Abigail though, which meant everyone pretended not to like her too. They were all so mean. This made Abigail very sad.

  6. Bessie started to get in with the Clu Cat Clan, which made her spend less and less time with Abigail, until they only passed in the hallways.

  7. One day, Abigail stopped Bessie. “Bessie, what happened? Just because you hang out with The Cats doesn’t mean we can’t be friends,” Abigail said. “I’m sorry Abigail, but they’re just cooler, and they don’t want me hanging out with you.” “How could you do this to me?!” Abigail wailed as she waddled away.

  8. Bessie stood there for a minute, realizing her mistake. The Cats walked up, glaring at Abigail down the hallway. “What were you doing talking to HER?” One asked. “Why are you so mean to her? What did she do to you?” Bessie said boldly.

  9. “She’s the easiest person to make fun of, that’s all,” another said. “She doesn’t fight back” “You guys need to stop. I’m sure you don’t want people making fun of YOU. It’s bullying, you know,” said Bessie. “Well when you say it that way, I understand. I wouldn’t want everyone talking bad and being mean to me.” They all nodded in agreement.

  10. I’m sorry Abigale! The next day at school, Bessie ran up to Abigail, apologizing for everything she’s done. Then all throughout the day people came up and apologized. Bessie was waiting to see The CCC go up to her, and it took all day for them to do it.

  11. “Look Abigail, we’re really sorry. We didn’t think it’d hurt you as much as it did. And we really hope you forgive us. We now know that bullying is soooo not cool.” They looked at Abigail with somber eyes. “I forgive you,” Abigail said with a smile.

  12. Later they all became real good friends, and hung out all the time. Everyone realized that being mean to Abigail didn’t do them any good. Abigail and Bessie became best friends again, and the world was happy. THE END
