  3. Unit summary UNIT SUMMARY • The impact of cell phones on educational institutions is name of our project .It’s going to start on 1st July 2011 and end in March 2012. Firstly, discussion will take place among the students and the facilitators. Then the students will be asked to do a survey in different parts of schools as to calculate how many classrooms as well as students are disturbed due to the misuse of mobile. In the next session, the children will make and distribute a brochure as to get aware the people hazards of mobile during studies. Children will also make some drawings and posters for the same purpose. Again a survey will be conducted to get the feedback. In the end, a seminar will be arranged and then they will arrange their own wiki.

  7. STANDARDS • While we work on projects, class time will be organized very differently than usual, but it will still be very structured. The projects will be designed so that students will have to understand important concepts and be able to perform specific skills related to hazards of using mobiles during studies. • CONTD

Instead they do research on a variety of topics, gathering the information they need to solve a real-life chemical problem. • Since students will be working independently and in small groups, I will assess their learning as they are working to make sure they are achieving all the objectives by • CONTD

  14. DISCUSSION • Let them engage in brain storming about survey questions and make survey questionnaire. Evaluate them by discussion checklist.

  15. GROUPING • Divide them in groups and allocate the classes and section and give survey questionnaire to them.

DAY 7 (45minutes) • MAKE STRATEGIES FOR SEMINAR • Engage them in conducting seminar in which they discuss the disadvantages of mobiles during studies and make demonstration that they can improve their grades by concentrating on their studies and learning. Invite an educationalist to support your views and demonstration.
