  8. Around 700,000 children die every year from diarrhoea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation – that’s almost 2000 children a day. 4 out of 10 don’t have access to a basic toilet

  9. Only 15% of the worlds population have the luxury of water on tap Half the hospital beds in developing countries are filled with people suffering from diseases caused by poor water, sanitation and hygiene.

  10. The average person in Australia uses 385L of water every day For every $1 invested in sanitation, at least $8 is returned in increased productivity and a reduced burden of healthcare.
