In this article, we shall mainly discuss on GERD which is considered as one of the most complicated as well as common types of disorders among human beings. Before moving ahead, it is important to know about esophagus. What is it? What is the function of this body part? Well, esophagus is a hollow muscular tube which connects out stomach and mouth. As the muscle becomes relaxed, stomach acid frequently tries to come back in opposite direction. That means acid tries to come to mouth from the stomach.
