Bushfire At-Risk Register (BARR) • FDC services with residences and venues which are in areas of high bushfire risk have a condition imposed on their service approval • All services with a BARR condition must provide their Emergency Management Plan to the Department by 21 November 2017 No Jab No Play (NJNP) • All children enrolled at an early childhood service be immunised. • Limited exemptions apply for vulnerable groups, and children on vaccination catch up plans Child Safe Standards • Commission for Children and Young People became responsible for the regulation of the Child Safe Standards on 1 January 2017 • Complaints may be referred to QARD for investigation • One matter has been referred for investigation to date. • Current issues – all early childhood services
