Program Overview • Pure Safety - environmental training and assessment program for certification of facility Environmental Coordinators (EC’s) to a predetermined standard • Mandatory for EC’s and Subsidiary Coordinators • Certification is valid for 12 months • 5 Levels – (Year1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, & Year 5) • New EC’s must complete Year 1 within 6 months Refer to Element 19 – EC Training Protocol Procedures & Guidelines in Web EMS by Sylwia LaBudde

Getting Started • Contact the System Administrator (Sylwia LaBudde) to establish an account within 2 weeks of being hired (personnel responsible – IOC ECs) • Required information - name, email, & location • Log into your Pure Safety account: http://www.puresafety.com/login/Login-1.asp • Company Name : smithfieldfoods • User Name: assigned by admin • Password: assigned by admin NOTE: system changes on June 6th, 2012 by Sylwia LaBudde

  9. Site Navigation • Assigned classes are listed under “Assignments” (Completed, Active, Upcoming) • Both lessons and tests are required • Select the desired lesson by Sylwia LaBudde

  10. Site Navigation • Sound options (voice-over narration or no narration) • Click “OK” by Sylwia LaBudde

  11. Site Navigation • Course will begin • Navigation (Back, Restart, Pause, Next) by Sylwia LaBudde

  12. Site Navigation – Retake Lessons/Tests • Choose “Completed” from the pull down menu to retake lessons and/or tests as many times as you need to by Sylwia LaBudde

  13. Site Navigation – Retake Lessons/Tests • Expand the desired training • Highlight the portion you want to review (lesson or test) • Select “Review” to begin. by Sylwia LaBudde

  14. Site Navigation – Certificates • Highlight the course • Select “Reprint Diploma” • Cannot print multiple diplomas together by Sylwia LaBudde

  15. Site Navigation – Certificates • You can print or save individual course certificates (example below) • Upon completion of all required courses (respective level), • Certified Environmental Coordinatorcertificates will be issued by Smithfield Foods Corporate by Sylwia LaBudde

  16. Training – Top Performer • All test scores will be reviewed to ensure a minimum of 70% was achieved • An individual with the highest scores will be named “Top Performer” • TOP PERFORMER • Paul Philips – Smithfield Packing, Clayton by Sylwia LaBudde
