  1. Eternal Judgement The Righteous Judge

  2. The Righteous Judge God is the righteous judge The entirety of Your word is truth,And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever Ps 119:160 You surely wouldn’t let them be killed when you destroy the evil ones. You are the judge of all the earth, and you do what is right.” Gen 18:25

  3. Meaning Righteous/Judge • Morally upright; without guilt or sin: a righteous parishioner. • In accordance with virtue or morality: a righteous judgment. • Morally justifiable: righteous anger

  4. The Righteous Judge • To form an opinion or estimation of after careful consideration: judge heights; judging character. • Law To hear and decide on in a court of law; try: judge a case. • Obsolete To pass sentence on; condemn. • To act as one appointed to decide the winners of: judge an essay contest. • To determine or declare after consideration or deliberation. • Informal To have as an opinion or assumption; suppose: I judge you're right. • Bible To govern; rule. 5. The Righteous Judge The Bible reveals that God is the Judge So I have not sinned against you, but you are doing me wrong to war against me. The Lord, the [righteous] Judge, judge this day between the Israelites and the Ammonites. Judges 11:27

  6. The Righteous Judge So that men will say,“Surely there is a reward for the righteous;Surely He is God who judges in the earth.” Ps 58:11 Rise up, O Judge of the earth;Render punishment to the proud. Ps 94:2

  7. The Righteous Judge God is merciful in His nature God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. 2 Pet 3:9

  8. The Righteous Judge God the Father has committed all judgement to the Son For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honour the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him John 5:22-23

  9. The Righteous Judge Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. John 5:25-27

  10. The Righteous Judge God’s judgements are based on four principles: Truth But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. Rom 2:1-2 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17:17

  11. The Righteous Judge Deeds For He will render to every man according to his works [justly, as his deeds deserve]:Rom 2:6 And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short]. 1 Pet 1:17 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[a] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Rev 20:12

  12. The Righteous Judge No Partiality For God shows no partiality [[a]undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another]. Rom 2:11 But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. 1 Sam 16:7

  13. The Righteous Judge According to Light known If you sin without knowing what you’re doing, God takes that into account. But if you sin knowing full well what you’re doing, that’s a different story entirely. Merely hearing God’s law is a waste of your time if you don’t do what he commands. Doing, not hearing, is what makes the difference with God Rom 2:12

  14. The Righteous Judge According to Light • And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act as he would wish him to act shall be beaten with many [lashes]. • 48 But he who did not know and did things worthy of a beating shall be beaten with few [lashes]. For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require and demand all the more. Lk 12:47-48
