  1. Welcome to Esperanza Elementary School School Year 2011-2012 Room 3 Ms. Vayas

Teacher’s Responsibilities • I will be using the Bloom’s Taxonomy to guide my students to acquire vocabulary, fluency, increase their levels of comprehension, and help them to reach higher levels of critical thinking in a interdependent Global society. • I will engage my students in a wide variety of Global educational adventures filled with interesting hands on activities in the Subjects of Science and Social Studies.

  3. Parent’s Responsibilities Send your child to school on time. Check student’s materials constantly (pencils and paper provided in the class) Assist your child with homework

  4. Student’s Responsibilities • When you enter the class get ready to copy the agenda for the day. • On all your papers write your name, date and title of assignment. • Your participation in class is required all the time. • Turn in assignments on time, late work will result in deduction of points.

  5. Classroom Rules • Be on Time • Be respectful to others opinions • Keep your area clean at all times • Raise your hand to ask questions • Participate in class discussions • Keep your hands to yourself
