  1. Moderation allows for consumption of all things that you savor, combined with an active lifestyle you will discover the perfect balance between health and happiness. The Teeter Totters By: Amy, Elizabeth, James, & Morgan

  2. Carbohydrates

  3. not a diet, but a lifestyle Too many Americans are on a diet, when the truth is, they need to be in mode to change their lives.

  4. What does moderation mean exactly…

  5. Moderation Moderation doesn’t mean what you think it means. Too many people think they eat in moderation when, in reality, their eating habits are off the rails. ‘Everything in moderation’ gives the impression that all foods are nutritionally equal. Well, they aren’t. You should not be eating moderate amounts of vegetables and moderate amounts of dessert. You should be eating abundant amounts of vegetables and tiny amounts of dessert (Dennett).

  6. So what can I eat then?

  7. Helpful Tip: 90/10 Rule Make 90% of the things you eat be things that are healthy, and the other 10% is your allowance to splurge, on your sugary, salty, fatty foods.

  8. What could happen if I am not eating healthy… would it still make me happy?

  9. Dangers of Unhealthy Eating Obesity Heart Disease Cancer Diabetes Arthritis

  10. Avoid the processed foods… Go with the healthy choices

  11. I can avoid being fat, unhealthy, and diagnosed with a deadly disease if only I moderate myself, watch my eating habits and one more thing… what else goes with dieting?

  12. Gym Routine

  13. Too much work out, too little time

  14. The Teeter Totter Challenge Take one thing that makes you happy, something that makes you feel good about yourself, do that one thing everyday that supports your wellbeing and it will become a habit and you will feel much better about yourself.
