14. Joint Institute for Nuclear Research invites its partners to participate in the special economic zone (SEZ) of technology-innovative type in Dubna. JINR will help in organizational and technical issues concerning business in SEZ in the sphere of nuclear - physical technologies and IT. Companies – SEZ residents would also have the following opportunities: to use the resources of Multi-access centre on nanotechnologies, to locate in the business – incubator for small enterprises, to get the start or venture financing and other services with the help of the Technology Transfer Centre.

President of Russian Federation D.Medvedev:visit to JINR, April 18, 2008 D.Medvedev has stressed the importance and good perspectives of two large scaleprojects proposed by JINR: creation in Dubna of the Centre for radiation medicine and of the International innovativenanotechnology centre on the base of JINR and Dubna SEZ.

24. The main feature of Dubna SEZ is the possibility to become the centre of international cooperation in the sphere of high technologies. JINR Member States Committee of Penipotentiaries on its sessions of November 27-28, 2007 and on March 14-15, 2008 has supportedthe creation of the International innovativenanotechnology centre for JINR Member States and has recommended JINR Directorate to submit necessary documents to theGovernment of Russian Federation.

25. We have in Dubna the good opportunity to create the special economic zone as a real international one – open and dynamic. JINR Member states have the keen interest in this issue. We shallstrengthen and develop existing scientific and business contacts with Hungary.
