  1. The pastor or leader will greet the people The Lord be with you. And also with you.

  2. All those gathered stand and everyone says the Lord’s Prayer Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. AMEN.

  3. The pastor or leader along with all those gathered, remain standing and say or sing Open our lips, O Lord.And our mouths shall declare Your praise. (2x) O God, make speed to save us.O Lord, make haste to help us. (2x)

  14. The Old Testament lesson is read 2 Kings 23:1-3 (NIV) 1  Then the king called together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

The Old Testament lesson is read 2 Kings 23:1-3 (NIV) 2  He went up to the temple of the LORD with the men of Judah, the people of Jerusalem, the priests and the prophets--all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.

  25. The Epistle is read Romans 15:4-13 (NIV) 13  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  45. Then the pastor or leader says near with faith, and take this holy sacrament to strengthen and comfort you. But first, let us make a humble confession of our sins to Almighty God.
