Key Challenges facing the profession – Cont. • The need to provide comprehensive experience for graduates in order to register professionally • Finalization of the Identification of Engineering Work (IDoEW) regulations with the CBE • Approved on 17 March 2014 • Awaiting Competition Commission Exemption Status • Stakeholder Consultative Process • Promotion of the Engineering profession and careers to Black, rural, and indigent communities. • Increasing women participation in Engineering
