What it is • A draft which considers various aspects of measuring routing protocols convergence in a network. • Something to start us thinking about the techniques and tools used to perform these measurements, and to form a concensus around the meanings of those measurements. • Consider what we would like to measure.

Overview of the Draft • What is the network under test? • There is the network, and there are the tools being used to generate the network events through which convergence times are measured. • The tools can impact the measured convergence times as much as the network does, especially a convergence times reduce into the noise level of the tools.
