Logging of entire locking process and statistical data due to national law Electronic lock management system fully operational since 2009 (former hand-written) Supports lock operator in daily work (locking, shift, hydro data) Use of automatic identification Notification and implementation via Tracking & Tracing (AIS) Pre-announcements from previous lock Announcement via radio call (ATIS) Use of Hull data base Use of failure / warning / mail management within LMS Production of automatic statistical reports via MS Reporting Service Increase smoothness of traffic, decrease waiting times Increase safety of traffic and lock operations LMS application – features(1)
