  6. History of organization: Thermax ltd. came into business by harnessing this power of steam by the means of boilers. In the year 1966, A S Bhathena collaborated with a Belgian company, Wanson to commence our business operation as Wanson India Ltd. in a small manufacturing unit in Dadar (Mumbai) by making small boilers. It assumed the name Thermax Limited in the year 1980. Under the able stewardship of Late Chairman R D Aga, the company moved into a bigger orbit leading to its present stature.
