Smart Goals:

This year, wewill implement a transition time before school ends for kindergarten students to learn something about first grade.

We will also implement a transition before school ends for third graders to learn about fourth grade.

Results

Our transition between kindergarten and first grade was very successful. Kindergarten students got to visit each first grade classroom to see and hear from the teachers at that level.

We did not practice the transition between third and fourth grades because we failed to implement this before testing

Next Steps

We will continue the transition between kindergarten and first grade.

We will continue our transition from fifth grade to middle school.

We will implement the transition between third and fourth grades before testing starts.

We will continue implementing transitions between

grade levels until we have all grade levels involved.
