Departmental Developments Increased Access • Enhanced use of Moodle to offer access to radio/TV clips and articles • Book trolleys (making wider reading texts easily available) • Literature Blog Increased Access - planned actions • Create some additional critical analysis resources on taught texts, for literature students • Make links to the LRC catalogue more visible Trial ‘push’ activities • Trial of class vs. class competition (Hannah Mantle’s session) Trial ‘pull’ activities • Trial of a reading group (Lit) to be continued Selective focus • 4 -6 weekly sessions to prepare Oxbridge candidates for entrance papers Selective focus – planned actions • Weekly lunchtimes sessions targeted specifically at students who plan to apply to do an Eng Lit degree
