  4. Materials • Each team needs a white board and a piece of paper. • If your color comes up – you do the problem on the white board and come up to me to shoot. • EVERYONE else in the team needs to do the problem on their paper • Winning team gets a treat tomorrow 

  5. #1 – Simplifying Complex Numbers (a+bi form) • Simplify the following Complex Expressions – leave answers in a+bi form

  7. #2 – Simplify Complex Fractions (a+bi form) • Make sure to multiply by the denominator BUT change the sign

  9. #3- Solving a Quadratic (using square roots) • Solve the following quadratic equations • It is helpful to square root both sides INSTEAD of multiplying first in some cases (like this )
