Definition of the “WORD”: • The Greek expression of the “WORD” is “LOGOS” and it has no correspondence in other languages. • LOGOS is the correct word and it means mind or wisdom or doctrine. • The Gospel of St. John used the “Word” with this meaning about 36 times. Therefore, the “Word” is the image inherent in God who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power.

  3. Why the incarnation? • Why Could not God say a word or just forgive Adam and Eve after giving them a punishment ? • Why did God took so loooooooongto incarnate? • Why did it have to be God to incarnate? Why not an angel?
