Choral vocal

Choral (Vocal)

Definition: Musical group of singers.

Instrumentation: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, and Bass.

Size: 10-100

Performance Venues: Churches, Schools and Theatres

Orchestral strings brass woodwinds

Orchestral (Strings/Brass/Woodwinds)

  • Definition: A group composed of stringed instruments, percussion, and brass.

  • Instrumentation: String, Bass, Woodwind, and percussion.

  • Size: Up to 100

  • Performance Venues: Concert halls, Performing art centers.

  • 3 songs: Electric Light Orchestras- Bluebird, Confusion, Fire on High


Jazz ensembles

Jazz Ensembles

  • Definition: Jazz band that plays Jazz music. Usually consists of a Rhythm section and a horn section.

  • Instrumentation: Percussion, Double bass, Bass guitars, and saxophones.

  • Size: 12 to 25.

  • Performance Venues: Shows, Concerts, Cafes

Wind ensembles

Wind ensembles

  • Definition: A concert band, also called wind band.

  • Instruments: flutes, oboes, and clarinets.

  • Size: 25-150 people
