  2. Quadrilateral is a polygon with 4 sides. Some quadrilaterals have properties that classify them as special quadrilaterals. Here are six major special quadrilaterals. A parallelogram has both pairs of opposite sides parallel and congruent. Both pairs of opposite angles are congruent.

  3. A rectangle has four right angles. A rhombus has four congruent sides.

  4. A square has four congruent sides and four right angles. Atrapezoidhas exactly one pair of parallel sides.
