  1. HACKING E-M@IL

  2. WHAT IS IT ? • Electronic mail, most commonly called email, is a method of exchanging digital messages from an author to one or more recipients. Modern email operates across the Internet or other computer networks .Email servers accept, deliver and memorize messages; computers don’t have to be online simultaneously; they need to be connected only briefly, for as long as it takes to send or receive messages. • But in the world there are a lot of hackers, people who try to discover secret information eliminating blocks imposed by lots of software. Email hacking is an illicit access to an email account or email correspondence. There are a number of ways in which a hacker can illegally gain access to an email account.

  3. Why do hackers do it ? Often hackers are acting for two reasons: The first is by enemies who want to destroy your reputation and send private information to random people or your friends. The second cause is the "jealousy", the only desire to get information to blackmail the owner of the mail, steal an account by changing the e-mail address and password. Hackerswill do anything to avoid being discovered!!!

  4. Phishing • Phishing is the act of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money) by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.. Communications pretending to be from popular social web sites, auction sites, online payment processors , are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting public. Phishing emails may contain links to websites that are infected with malware. Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail spoofing or instant messaging, and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feelare almost identical to the legitimate one.

  5. How do wedefendourselvesfromit ? To steal the passwords it is necessary to use the system “Brute Force”. This system tries a lot of passwords until itfinds yours. how do you defend yourself? You need to use a password with more than five characters and it must contain some letters and it mustn’t be in the dictionary. But sometimes the password can be discovered anyway
