Open BIDS and create new SSAS Project

Open BIDS and create new SSAS Project. Right Click on Data Source and click on New Data Source. Data Source Wizard loads. Click on New to add a Data Source. Select your source database. Define Connection. Wizard Complete. You now have a data source. Adding a Data Source View.

  14. You now have a View

  15. You now have a layout

  16. Add a new Cube

  17. Select Build Method

  18. Select View

  19. Select the correct facts and dimensions

  20. Select measures needed

  21. Detect Hierarchies

  22. Review Dimensions and Hierarchies

  23. Cube Wizard Completed

  24. We now have Cube and Dimensions

  25. Check Project Settings

  26. Process Cube

  27. Process of Processing Cube

  28. Deploy Cube to SSAS
