Students create stories using carton characters with their own voice-overs. Students use a format to fill in introduction, conflict, climax, and resolution. Students practice writing , planning and implementing. • NYS: Common core for grade 4 key ideas: Describe in debt character setting, or event in a story or drama drawing on specific detail • NYS Standard: Develop a personal voice that enable the reader to get to know the writer • Ontario: 2.2 Demonstrate understanding appropriate speaking behavior in a variety of different situations- organizing texts in reading.
