  3. ROUNDERS – THE BASICS 2 3 1 4 IN OUT

  4. ROUNDERS – THE RULES • 10 or 11 players per team. • 1 innings each. • 30 balls per innings. • The most rounder's win.

  5. ROUNDERS – THE RULES SCORING ROUNDERS • Running past 4th base scores 1 rounder. • Running all the way round past 4th(in one go) scores 2rounders. • 2 no-balls in a row scores ½ a rounder.

  6. ROUNDERS – THE RULES BATTING • Stand in batting box • If no-ball called you get another go • If miss or hit behind 1st base only • Must run around the outside • KS1 tennis racket • KS2 rounders bat • Stand behind in or out line • Once out you are out

  7. ROUNDERS – THE RULES FIELDING • Bowler and Back Stop • 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base and 4thbase (stand on inside of the post) • Out fielders • Do not block the batters path • If bowl a team out in 30 balls a bonus point will be added to the points table • Bowling – between knee and shoulder of the batter. Not at the body.

  8. ROUNDERS – THE RULES GETTING OUT • Caught • Stumped on base • Running past another player • Once out not back in • 30 balls an innings or when everyone is out, which ever comes first

  9. ROUNDERS – THE RULES THE TOURNAMENT • 8 teams (y6 captains) • 2 groups (3 games each) • Top 2 semi-finals • Winners into final • 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for a loss. • Bonus point if bowl team out within 30 balls
