  2. TAFE NSW • TAFE NSW offers 130 campuses all over NSW. • The Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) is the specialist distance and open learning organisation of TAFE NSW, and offers flexible and distance learning for people regardless of where they live.

  9. VET Courses • VET courses are: • available to students in Year 11 and 12 • taught by teachers at school or TAFE • provide a head start in a career • may provide work placement • provide pathways to further study

  13. Fees and Exemptions • Some courses are “Fee Free” • Most have an Administration Fee • Students under the T/C are entitled to one fee exemption per year.

OTHER COSTS INCURRED • Apart from the TAFE NSW fee, you may also need to pay: • course-related charges • Student Association membership • An OTEN Student Materials and Handling Charge • temporary visa holders tuition fees • fees for commercial courses • licence fees • Commercial Recognition fees • car parking (semester or annual fee). • Personal Protective Clothing • Materials charges
