Scoping Process Developer Contact statutory consultees to advise of intention to submit a Scoping Report Contact ECDU to arrange a pre-scoping meeting Developer produces and submits an Environmental Statement with their application Issue Scoping Report and covering letter to ECDU requesting a formal Scoping Opinion and to all external consultees. Please also provide 7 copies of the Scoping report for internal consultation Prepare Scoping Report Final Scoping Opinion and acknowledgement letter issued to developer Return consultee list with any additional local bodies to ECDU Consultees submit comments to ECDU ECDU collate final Scoping Opinion Request external consultee list from ECDU ECDU request comments from internal government consultees Energy Consents & Deployment Unit
