Have your circumstances changed since you first moved into your current home? Have your children grown up and moved out? Do you have more bedrooms than you need? ……We are launching a ‘cash for downsizing’ scheme in partnership with A2 Housing Association, which could benefit you if you are an existing A2 resident and live in this Borough. If you are living in a property with two or more bedrooms and are willing to move into a one bedroom home within the same area, we will give you £1,000 for each bedroom that you release. We will pay you half of the amount, and A2 will pay the other half.

Result: 3 stars and excellent prospects

In this inspection, we found that strengths continue to substantially outweigh weaknesses. The lettings service is customer focused... offering appropriate advice to them... Northwards Housing promotes a range of other options to potential applicants... in order that applicants are aware of all housing options... NH is a member of HOMESWAPPER and has registered over 100 tenants in the first eight months of membership. This is promoted by re-housing officers and provides a further option to existing tenants. This approach ensures wide, informed choice to applicants.
