  1. Rallies for Vintage & Classic Cars… Our rally calendar for 2022 is a busy one and featured a return to endurance style, international adventures, for the Ypres to Istanbul Challenge. With the start line in the rally capital of Belgium, cars and crews headed through a total of eight countries on carefully planned routes, right to the edges of the orient. A truly exceptional experience

  2. In the Autumn we Finish the rally year in style a members-only West Country Cloverleaf. The Rally the Globe team will then be fully occupied with recce trips and detailed planning for future events such as our Alaska to Mexico Marathon, a month-long epic journey down to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, our next luxury Carrera, this time in France, and the Vintage Shamrock in partnership with Irish Racing Green.

  4. Event Highlights Eligible Crew Eligible Cars Competition Each crew should consist of members of two distinct Generations – ideally from the same family. All crew members must be at least 12 years old at the time of the event Cars of a special cation produced before 31 December 1985Separate classic cation for cars of a special cation produced before 31 December 1945 There will be Regularity Sections each day on twisty but quiet minor roads. Special Tests will also take place throughout the event on private land. www.rallytheglobe.com

Roads used Hospitality Some of the most scenic roads in the area can be bumpy so low-slung cars may need to be driven with care, but we will avoid rough, potholed and unsurfaced roads as much as possible. Our comfortable Spa Resort will also be the venue for dinner each evening, and for a Prize-giving Gala Lunch on the final day. www.rallytheglobe.com

  6. Navigation The rally navigation will utilize a tulip Road Book with simple Regularities and Tests to start with, getting a little more complicated as the event progresses. Some of the sections towards the end of the event will require you to use map extracts that will be provided. Tuition will be given before the start for crews that haven’t taken part in this type of rallying before, and Rally the Globe mentor teams will be on hand throughout the event to help with any queries.

Our Club President Ari is one of the most revered and respected rally drivers of all times, being crowned as World Champion in 1981 and, thereafter, winning the epic Paris Dakar Rally no fewer than four times. With Fred Gallagher, he won the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies with Citroën Sport in 1997 and they also teamed up to score a famous podium finish on the Safari Rally when sharing an Escort WRC for the Ford factory team in 1998.

The fourth in Rally the Globe’s popular Carrera series of events will take eleven days to explore the array of scenic delights and perfect driving roads that France has to offer, utilizing the unparalleled knowledge and support of our French Route Coordinator – legendary co-driver Denis Giraudet. Starting in the chic 19th century seaside resort of Deauville on the Normandy coast, we set out in to the pays D’Auge and a scenic route through beautiful, historic towns on our way to Chambord. The route takes us through the Chateaux de Loire region, famous for its castles, to an overnight stop in La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast. We continue along the way with a night in Cognac, before heading east to a rather splendid, privately owned racing circuit for a test and some refreshment.
