The student understands the importance of family beliefs, customs, language, and traditions. The student is expected to: • (A)  describe various beliefs, customs, and traditions of families and explain their importance; and • (B)  retell stories from selected folktales and legends such as Aesop's fables.

  5. Follow Up • What did the children hang on the fireplace? • What are they for? • Who puts the presents in them?

  6. Craft Time • On first stocking write five things you would like to find in your stocking? • On the second stocking draw five other things that you would like to receive? • The quietest person will get to pick their color stocking. • Then write your name and put puff on it.
