  2. MINISTRY PRIORITIES # 1 – GREATER MISSION MINDSET INCLUDING: > Outreach focus > Reaching Emanuel’s inactive # 2 – ADULT SPIRITUAL GROWTH # 3 – STRENGTHENING MALE LEADERSHIP in the HOME

  3. MINISTRY PRIORITIES # 4 – STRENGTHENING FAMILIES – especially, families with young children # 5 – INCREASING EMANUEL’S SCHOOL ENROLLMENT #6 – GETTING MORE MEMBERS INVOLVED in SIGNIFICANT MINISTRY at EMANUEL

  4. BACKGROUND on PRIORITIES • The COORDINATING COUNCIL adopted the PRIORITIES to provide direction/focus. • The PRIORITIES will be used to develop or maintain board/committee ministry plans. • The PRIORITIES are not “in stone.” They can, and often are, revised.

  5. RE: PRIORITY ORDER • Some have suggested that Priority # 5 – • INCREASING EMANUEL’S SCHOOL • ENROLLMENT - should be moved up. • Priorities # 2, # 3 and # 4 are where they • are to provide a stronger family spiritual • foundation so that more will consider and • desire a Christ-centered for the children • the dear Lord has given them.

  6. PRIORITIES and PLANNING • Boards and committees maintain 1-year plans for month-by-month review and comparison. • They include longer range plans for the future. • The Exec. Director (R. Yerke) and Admin. Pastor (Pastor Heiges) review the board and committee plans to assist the CC in coordinating programs.

  7. WHAT ELSE? • Obviously, parts of the 1-year and longer-range plans will need to be revised as unknown circumstances occur; and they do! • The Lord directs us to do things “decently and in order.” He provides ample wisdom and direction.

  8. For EMANUEL’S LEADERSHIP Emanuel boards and committees go forward humbly with confidence - - trusting God to extend His kingdom by carrying out the plans. They depend on the congregation’s support in extending Christ’s kingdom. WE ASK GOD TO BLESS THEIR EFFORTS!
