  2. 1) NDOHSupport • Assisted with the two NDOHguidelines: • delivered to NDOH for sign off on 30 August 2010 • Accompanied NDOHto Mpumalanga, Free State and Northern Cape for discussions on MMC rollout support • Assisted with Global Fund round 10 submission • Assisted with “first 100,000” planning process

  3. 2) Partnership activities : MMC services • CHAPS: • Orange Farm (~4600) • and planning of new sites • Zola clinic, Soweto – renovations in progress, staff hired, anticipated start date 1 November • Helen Joseph • Nokuthula Ngwenya, Ekurhuleni • Tshwane • PHRU : • Support for service at Zuzimpilo (~186) • Support for planned Chris Hani Baragwanath site

  4. 3) Partnership activities : Training • CHAPS: • Training at Orange Farm • Development of clinical training course • Development of “post-MMC” care training materials and posters • Support to MATCH & KZN camps • HIVSA: • Development and pilot of two day counsellor training course • Next course to focus on Zola clinic staff • Community mobilisation activities planned for Zola Clinic area

  5. 4) Partnership activities : Provincial plans • Gauteng: • Two day provincial planning meeting • Follow up planning with GDOH • Mpumalanga • Ongoing engagement with DOH on planning process • Western Cape • Preliminary discussions and offer of assistance
