  2. A brief description of a car dealer. • A car dealer normally wears business casual clothes Ex. Khaki pants and a button up shirt. But it depends on the product being sold. The dress code might be different if you are selling expensive cars. Car dealers help customers to find the right car to fit their personality.

  3. Education/Training • A car dealer could get by with a high school diploma but it would be better if they had either a: • Sales & Marketing degree or a Business degree

  4. Salary • The salary depends on whether or not many cars are sold. • $84,047.20 is a rough average of a yearly salary.

  5. Attributes & Abilities • A car dealer license • Knowing details about vehicles • Customer service skills • A positive attitude • And many more

  6. Job Outlook • There is a 5% decrease expected from 2008 – 2018

  7. Duties of a car dealer • A car dealer…. • buys cars and sells them at a typically marked up price • leases cars • works with customers to help to get the vehicle financed • keep all bills paid and make sure customers pay their bills

  8. How do car dealers use math? • Car dealers must.... • pay taxes • help to finance customers • help customers negotiate a deal • Etc.
