  2. Summary I Genesis of the project : The French and international expertise II The success of the French initiative III The objective of this new ranking IV The value-added of the Eduniversal Ranking of the Best Masters V Methodology and process

  3. The genesis of the project : the French expertise • Eduniversal is the French leader of the assessment of the academic programs since 2002 : • Since 2002 : Evaluation of the best French Masters and MBA • Since 2005 : Evaluation of the best French Teachers through the « Trophies of the Pedagogy » • Since 2009 : Evaluation of the best French Bachelors • Since 2009 : Evaluation of the best French Business and Engineering Schools

  4. The genesis of the project : the international expertise • Since 2007, Eduniversal uses its knowledge in evaluation in 153 countries by implementing its « Eduniversal Evaluation System » to the worldwide level : • 2007 : 1st Ranking of the 1,000 Best Business Schools in the world. • 2010 : 1st Ranking of the Best Masters and MBA in the world.

  5. The success of the French initiative • Since 2005, Eduniversal ranks each year the 500 masters and MBA in around 50 specialties. • To do so, we ask : • More than 3 000 Academic Managers. • 2 000 Human Ressources Managers. • Around 20 000 Students. • The rate of the students’ answers is close to 40% !

  6. The success of the French initiative • The French Ranking of the Best Masters and MBA : • Used each year as a reference by the French media (press and general and specialized websites). • Published in a 1,500 pages guide given for free to the French students (50 000 copies). • Has its own website : meilleurs-masters.com. • Has its own show only opened to the ranked schools and to the students willing to get into these high quality schools.

  7. The objectives of this new ranking • To identify the expertise and the specificities of the 1,000 schools of the Eduniversal Official Selection. • To establish a serious referent of the Best programs in the world concerning 50 different specialties. • To fulfill students’ needs, when they are looking for a specialization and when they want to study abroad. • To fulfill Human Resources Managers’ needs looking for qualified young graduates from different specialties and from all over the world.

  8. The value-added of this new ranking in comparison with the basic rankings • The only « ranking » evaluating the programs and not the schools. • An approach by specialty and according to business criteria. • A double objective : • To inform the Human Resources Managers and Recruiters • To inform the students and the executive managers willing to start again a program

MARK / 5

  13. The criterion of the student’s satisfaction • The 11 questions asked to the students : • 1/ Are you globally satisfied with your studies? • 2/ Would you do again the same choice of studies today ? • 3/ Are you satisfied with the content of the academic program? • 4/ Are you satisfied with the teaching staff ? • 5/ Are you satisfied with the professionals who took part in your lectures? • 6/ Are you satisfied with the means at your disposal to get an internship or a job?
