5S is a philosophy, a way of life that one practices all the time every day. It involves everyone in the organisation.

Purpose:

5S is considered as the Foundation of Improvement Activities and its purpose is to involve the workforce in creating a safe, hygienic, satisfying and pleasant work environment.

Daily Work Management From The Management

DWM is a systematic method of performing all routine (daily) work and activities in a standardized way to consistently and efficiently achieve the aims and objective of the process/department. This covers maintenance of the current status and also making incremental improvements.

Purpose is to involve people in creating a work environment that provides transparency, harmony and autonomy to carry out ones work in a disciplined manner to consistently and efficiently achieve the agreed objectives


DWM - Objectives From The Management

  • To satisfy internal and external customers by providing outputs that consistently meet their requirements in terms of quality and always on time.

  • To provide these outputs efficiently at a cost that is within the budget.

  • To ensure consistency of daily/routine work creating pleasant and safe work environment
