Required courses for a Minor in Computer Science Engineering (2008-2009 catalog) (Revised: 06.13.2008 12:19pm, effective Fall 2008) Math Placement Test/Advising (MATH prerequisite classes as needed) (MATH 1302) (1310) Prerequisite (1311) (MATH 1323) Corequisite (or) MATH 1426 Calculus I 1320 C/C++ PHYS 1443 MATH 2425 Calculus II PHYS 1444 2312 Ass’y 1325 Java MATH 2326 Calculus III 2315 Discrete 2320 Alg/DataStr IE 3301 or MATH 3313 3320 OS 3322 Arch I To receive a minor in Computer Science Engineering, a student must complete the following courses with a grade of ‘C’ or better in each: CSE 1320 Intermediate Programming CSE 1325 Event-driven and Object-oriented Programming CSE 2312 Computer Organization and Assembly Language Programming CSE 2315 Discrete Structures CSE 2320 Algorithms and Data Structures CSE 3320 Operating Systems CSE 3322 Computer Architecture *and one of the following with a grade of ‘C’ or better: CSE 2340 Introduction to Digital Logic EE 3341 Digital Circuits Design as well as all required prerequisites for the chosen courses.
