  2. States in our Region: • In the Midwest there are a lot of states, including: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Iowa.

  3. Landforms in our Region: • Black Hills, Prairie, Plains ,Valleys , Tiny steep hills, and deep gullies are most of the common landforms in our region. Here are the definitions of these landforms in our region. Black Hills-a mountains range, Bad land – region of tiny steep hills and deep gullies made by erosion, Prairie – Is an area of flat or rolling land covered mostly with grasses and wildflowers, Plains- a stretch of gently rolling land with few trees, Valleys-a region of low land situated between hills or mountain, and a dale.

  4. What our region is known for/ Resources: • The Midwest is known for many things here are some specific thing people come over to see: Abraham Lincoln’s home, Big Springs, and Indian polis Motor Speed West!

  5. Resources: • These are some resources of the Midwest : Cars, food, including: corn, wheat, and soybeans. Natural Resources: Water, trees, including: lumber, soil, oil, coal, gem stones, minerals, and ore. Did you know that oil, coal, gem stones, minerals ,and ore are renewable? Water ,trees , and soil are all non-renewable.

  6. Climate in our region: • There are lots of windstorms in the Midwest, also when there is too little rain and no rain because the crops won’t grow. The temperature in the Midwest states can range from 40 degrees faranhight to 120 degrees faranhight!

  7. Where our region is located: • We have lots of boarders and surroundings, like : Canada, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Arkansas! The northern river boarders is the Lake Superior , Lake Haron, Lake Michigan, and Lake Erie.
