  1. Colorado History Timeline Activity Instructions Mr. Hawthorne Colorado History

You will be put into eight groups of 3-4 people & you will be assigned a number (1-8) • Within your group, you will complete the following tasks: • First look at all the events on the Colorado history timeline that correspond to your group’s number • After you look over all the events (there will be 12-13 events), your group will need to choose the six most important/significant events • You must then create a timeline with your six events on your sheet of paper

  3. Timeline • Each event on your timeline should be represented with the name of each event, the date, and a small drawing that represents the event • On the back of the timeline, you must list your events in chronological order & explain why each event is important/significant • Make sure all group member’s names are on the timeline
