  1. From this I learnt how to shoot a conversation properly and compose the shot so it looks aestheticlu pleasing.

  2. When it came to the day I quickly discovered that under the lighting and with the amount of fake blood we used the prosthetic skin started to slide off so I had to be on standby to check eveything looked alright after every shot

  3. Practicle camera work • On filming day I leant how to achive different shots with the tripod • One shot that achieved was a birds eye view shot which I used a tripod for because we did not have any other equipment • I raised the tripod to the highest it would go then tilted it over the table and held it in place • Once I had positioned it I learnt how to pan across the table using the handle • I really like how this shot turned out seen in this picture

  4. Editing • When editing I learnt how to use transitions in particular the dissolve transition to create a calm, serene effect • The smooth dissolves over the shots of the tea party contrast well with the harsh, fast paced, cuts when the shots of the bodies come in • By doing this I learnt the effect that editing can have on a scene with slower paced dissolves making the scene feel calm and faster paced cuts making it feel more naturalistic and scary

  5. Titles • I also learnt how to add titles which I was in charge of when editing • When editing the titles I tried to pick the font that I think suited the atmosphere of the opening • I chose the font in the picture because I thought it went well with the idea of a classic fancy tea party and I like the way this looks
