General Information Attire • Full Uniform to be worn on: • Opening Ceremony tomorrow • Learning Excursions on Tuesday 2 July • Conference T-shirt to be worn on: • Half Day excursion on Friday 5 July • National/Traditional costumes to be worn on: • APR Night and Bazaar • Farewell Dinner and GSJ Gala Dinner • Other days – GGGS T-shirts/uniform • Name tags to be worn at all times

Tasks • Young delegate • Newsletter team - webpage and newsletter – deadlines • Fashion Show on Thu 4 Jul at Farwell Dinner • Reflections • 4 MOs have been selected • Rehearsals every night (refer to programme for times) • Sessions • Check location and room numbers • Read conference documents and notes • Be prepared and willing to share during workshops • Keep to your workshop groups assigned. Stickers on name tag indicate your group OR refer to sign-up sheets on Noticeboard • Be PUNCTUAL  • REFER to NOTICEBOARD FOR DAILY ANNOUNCMENTS and SIGN-UPs

Tasks cont. • APR Night and Bazaar • WAGGGS Money • From Monday 1 July during breaks and at bazaar • Booklets in USD10 or equivalent in Yen • NO cash is allowed to be used during bazaar • Programme begins with FAPW Pin Ceremony for conference delegates • All proceeds to AP Fund or MO quota • MOs scheduled meetings • Check pigeon holes for meeting times/noticeboard • Representatives or entire delegation to attend • Session 21 Panel • Panel Question Box beside Pigeon Holes • Submit questions/issues for Panel or for APR Committee • Please write MO name

  6. Conference Agenda Day ONE Sunday 30 June • AP Report • Certificates will be presented • Project 3L • Membership Increase • AP Region Appreciation Award • Launch of AP History Book • Session 5 • Session 5a – bring WAGGGS Constitution • Others free night/rep to Session 5c

  7. Day TWO Monday 1 July • Sessions 7 & 8 Global Workshops • 4 workshop groups per session • Stickers will indicate your groups • Remain in the same groups and room for both workshops • Registration to become Friends will close by lunch 1 July

  8. Day THREE Tuesday 2 July • Deadline for proposed Motions 2 July lunch time

Day FOUR Wednesday 3 July • Session 17 MO Focus groups workshops • 4 different concurrent workshops • Training of Adults • Volunteer Management • Creating the Future • Office Management • MOs Sign-up sheets • Session 19 APR Membership Development Strategy (APMDS) • Read and bring Conference Doc 5

  10. Day FIVE Thursday 4 July • Session 22 Voting • Roll call • Session 23 Closing Ceremony • Gifts presented to host MOs

First-timers • Once every 3 years • By AP Regional Committee and host country • Delegates and observers • Promote WAGGGS Vision & Mission and goals • Prepare for World Conference • Strategic networking, share & resolve issues at workshop, international friendships • Discuss regional strategies, plans and finances • AP Membership Development Strategy to MOs…. • HAVE FUN!
