CMI (center for Communication, Media and Information technologies) Who are we? • CMI is a new center under Aalborg University in Ballerup • We are currently 14 people: • 9 teachers (professors, associate and assistant professors) • 5 research associates • 2 project manager and • 1 secretary • 16 phd students • Educations: • ITCOM (bachelor) • ICTE (master) • mICT (continuing education in Ghana and DK) • We work with mobile, Internet and digital media technologies and study • how these technologies can be applied in new and creative ways • how they can generate new business opportunities

  23. Hnefatafl – Viking Chess Hnefatafl started to decline in the 900th century with the rise of Chess. It disappeared from Wales in the late 1400th century and from Lappland in the early 1800. There are many references to Hnefatafl in Old Norse literature, from sources ranging from the poems of the Poetic Edda to saga references such as Orkneyinga Saga, the Greenland Lay of Atli, Hervarar Saga, Fridthjof's Saga and more.
