  2. What is a slope • Slope describes the steepness of line in a coordinate plane.

  3. How to find the slope • You can find the slope of a line by subtracting the coordinates of any two points on a line.

  4. Some facts about slope • The person that invented the slope formula was Rene Descartes. • The formula for slope is Y2-Y2 • X1-X2

  5. Examples of slope • A slope is like a hill or mountain if u go up a hill that is the positive slope. If you go down the hill that is the negative slope.

  7. More about slope • You can use slope to find the steepness of a ramp. The steepness of a ramp is the ratio to the vertical change to the horizontal change. In math , slope is a number that describes the steepness of a line.
