  3. Character description Carter Kane Sadie Kane Sadie is the younger sister of carter. Sadie lives with her grand parents in Britain Sadie is possessed by the Egyptian god Isis Sadie uses a magic wand resembling a boomerang • Carter is the older brother of Sadie. • Carter travels the world with his father who is an Egyptologist. • Carter is possessed by the Egyptian god Horus. • Carter uses a curved sword called a scimitar

  4. Other characters • Bast , Egyptian goddess trapped in Sadie's cat, Muffin • Amos, Carter and Sadie's uncle, possessed by the evil Egyptian god Set • Zia, member of the house of life. Main element use is fire • Julius Kane, Carter and Sadie's father possessed by the god Osiris

  5. Summary of the book • This book is about 2, kids Carter and Sadie whose father was captured by an evil Egyptian god. Later Carter and Sadie are possessed by Egyptian gods. They realize this when they enter the house of life. That is a place for magicians and people who are possessed by gods like Carter and Sadie.

  6. Summary continued • Carter and Sadie later on figure out that they can tap in to the gods power. They go on to defeat Set and they realize that Set’s master is even worse than then Set himself. Apophis(set’s master, a giant evil snake) is rising quicker than they thought. In the end Carter and Sadie stop Apophis for the time being.
