  3. Quick Notes • The following are all done at NSBE Online • New Membership • Membership Renewal • Becoming a NOL user costs nothing and is not equivalent to becoming a member. • To become a member, you must sign up for membership after creating your NOL user account.

  4. Becoming a new NSBE Member • Scenario A A college freshman wants to be able to attend NSBE conferences and maybe even join the executive board at their chapter. They want to sign up to be a member of NSBE!

  5. New Membership • Click on “Register as a new User” at the login screen

  6. New Membership • Enter all the required information then click submit.

  7. New Membership • After you have entered your information, verify that the information is correct • Select the option to “sign up to be a member for 2003-2004.” • Check your email & Click on the link provided to confirm your account within 4 days or the account will be deleted.

  8. New Membership • Once your account is activated, login to NOL with your newly created account. • Click on the Membership Icon and select: “Renew Your Membership for the 2003-2004 year!”

  9. New & Renewed Membership • At this point, New and Renewed Membership instructions are the same. • A new member and a member attempting to renew will follow the same process in order to register for membership for the 2003-2004 year. • Next you will begin the process to register & pay for NSBE Membership.

  11. New & Renewal Membership • Step 2: Registration Information Enter your Chapter, Year, Major, GPA, Graduation Date, etc.

  12. New & Renewal Membership • Step 3: Confirm Information (Read Member Code of Conduct)

  13. New & Renewal Membership • Step 4: Payment

New & Renewal Membership • Step 4: Payment • If you choose “pay my dues now“, you must have a credit card or check ready to pay online. • If you choose “postpone payment my dues”, you must pay in full within 30 days. To do so: • Login to NOL, click on “General” Icon for general options • Select Make a payment • Or arrange to have chapter pay for membership • You will not be considered a member until your membership dues are paid in full.

  16. New & Renewal Membership • Once a payment is made, you are member! • You may use all of the available options on NOL: • Scholarships • Digital Job Center • Manage your Membership • Manage your Chapter
