6. 2 Introduction to Organization Introduction Our understanding about business is very important because it is necessary for us to understand the topics on organization. Each organization has its own distinct goal or purpose. A key issue in accomplishing the goals that will be identified in the planning process is structuring the work of the organization. 7. 2 Introduction to Organization LOOK Ahead • (As a preparation for the next topic, the facilitator will ask the students to divide the whole class into four (4) groups. Each group will be tasked to create one small business organization to be managed by them.) • Consider the following: • Business Name • Goal or Purpose • Nature or line of Business • Capitalization (Ways on how to raise the said amount) • No. of employees (what positions?) • (This activity will help and prepare students for the next topic about organization and its role in the individual and the economy as a whole. Selected students will present their report or assignment in the class. The facilitator will also include his/her own example which he downloaded from the internet to strengthen the concepts and knowledge of the students about these types of organizations.
